Its Still Real To Them Dammit

WARNING YOU MAY NOT LIKE THIS

Every single day I read tweets like "OMG Kevin Steen will be amazing on RAW" or "Roman Reigns will be the new John Cena" and it bugs me. BUT LEVELS WHY DOES IT BUG YOU? Well my reading patron let me explain what bothers me and why.

THE INDY DARLINGS IN NXT

Holy ring ropes batman! Devitt, Kenta, Steen and Zayn are all just sitting there working in NXT after coming straight off the indies. But they are ready for the main roster surely? LIKE HELL THEY ARE. For those of you who know me you will understand I am excited for Steen and Zayn on the main roster but frankly they need time to improve in NXT. Yes improve. You can never be good enough at what you do best. Now while that's all well and good these indy darlings have came straight from a world where they don't need to plan 70% of the details in the match or even practice non-swear laden promos. NXT gives them the chance to improve on the skills, however great, that they may already pertain. People talk like these indy darlings are the next coming of jesus. Fact is they are in the same position, if not a worse position, than those who are starting fresh within WWEs training facility. They have a style they have worked that they will need to change and it will be hard. Look at Steen for instance. Do you honestly think they will let him use his package piledriver as a finisher? Do you think they will let him curse or threaten people in the crowd during promos? No of course they wont and thats why we need NXT to help ready talent. Remember gimmicks in small crowds dont always transpose well in large crowds. So the next time you decide that someone is good enough to skip NXT after working on just the indies maybe re-think. Oh and to those who believe that all these talents will end up on RAW or Smackdown, THESE ARE JUST DEVELOPMENTAL PROSPECT TALENTS. THEY MAY NEVER REALISTICALLY SEE A LIVE RAW CROWD FROM INSIDE THE RING. So stop telling me they are ready.

THE ASSUMPTIONS

I use this specimen as evidence that fans really do believe anything we read. Hell I'm guilty of it. We the fans have assumed that Reigns will be the guy to leave wrestlemania 31 with the title in his hands. WE ARENT EVEN PAST SURVIVOR SERIES! We all need to stop assuming this. Yes he maybe in the process of being groomed for the top spot but it will take time. I'd rather he was green now and learned before he got to the top spot. Last night on twitter I asked who should win the Royal Rumble. More than 80% of responses said Daniel Bryan. If Daniel Bryan wins the rumble he is automatically put into the title picture at Wrestlemania. So where would that leave Reigns? That would suggest he has to beat someone for the title before Mania. This also means WWE miss out on a huge moment for a wrestlemania when he could beat Lesnar. Hell that suggests that our other ASSUMPTION about Lesnar not losing the title until Mania would be wrong. Stop making assumptions guys. Just kick back and enjoy the ride. Sometimes not knowing what is going to happen can be better. There is a long time between now and mania.

My favourite assumption of the last year - TAKER WONT LOSE TO A PART TIMER AT WRESTLEMANIA. Look how that turned out.

Marks Being Marks

Know who that is? Thats Mark. He's big. He's a big Mark isn't he. Well there seems to be many of him out there on twitter. Now I love marks. You do the product justice. I commend you for buying into what is sometimes the most unrealistic "sport" in the world. BRAVA. Know who I don't like? Abusive marks. Those marks who begin swearing at wrestlers via the use of social media. The ones who when they don't get what they want on a tv show go and send @TripleH or @VinceMcMahon a bunch of 140 character messages outlining their utter disgust with their favourite tv show THAT THEY WILL WATCH REGARDLESS of the show quality. I loathe seeing people sending abuse to wrestlers who are working a gimmick correctly or doing as they are told by their boss. If you cant define the difference between real life and story then you shouldnt be allowed to watch tv. Would you send abuse to your local store worker for refusing to give a 5 year old alcohol because his boss told him too? If you would then you are the worst type of person. Now these people don't stop there. They often send explicit abusive tweets to those who support a wrestler who they are not a fan of. Allow me to provide an example. I have left out names for the sake of my own sanity.

"Rolins you bitches. Stabbing Roman and Dean was fucking disgusting. I hope you bommbed now."

Now someone argued with them by explaining that Seth was just doing his job and that its ok. This was met by;

"Fuck you azzhol. You know as smart as you think bitches. He is a pusy who need to die. like you. "

So as you can see this person is both deluded and awful at spelling. Think before the next time you send abuse to a wrestler for doing his job. Next thing you know John Cena will get abuse for helping sick kids smile. Rant over. Now excuse me I have to go and send abuse to Will Smith via twitter for being too fresh in the 90s.

Guess who isnt a main eventer?

Ever get stuck on what to write? Ever get stuck on which meal to choose in the canteen? Ever get stuck on which superstar you think will make it to the top but in actuality never will? Well actually a lot of you answer that last one very well.

This week I took some time to sit back on twitter and just observe my followers tweets and see what they had to say. It was refreshing and gave me space to get some insight on how other wrestling fans are thinking. It seems that many people are of the belief that Dolph Ziggler could be a main event star. I'm of the belief that those people must of had a run in with the Jeritron 5000 because they are all blind.

First off let me just say that Dolph Ziggler is an exceptional talent and there is no doubting that he is good. GOOD. Pay attention that word real close. HE IS GOOD. No more no less. Dolph Ziggler is WWEs resident man made of rubber in more ways than one. He sells every move like it was a finisher. THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING. Over selling makes finishing moves seem pointless. Think about that. Dolph Ziggler can lose 1000 times a year and still have one of the biggest followings in WWE or at least in regard to the internet marks. The more Dolph loses, the more people will care.

Now my favourite part about this is that some fans are of the belief that Dolph gets the biggest pop of the night every damn show he goes to. These fans are deaf as well as blind. Dolph rarely gets the largest pop of the night and his popularity ranges depending on which state or country he is in. His MITB cash in was impressive but that crowd is always hyped and full of european fans, who by the way are more pumped for any show due to the amount we are limited to seeing it.

However, I digress. Dolph Ziggler will never be a long term main event spot holder in WWE. Its just that simple. Look at the points I made above and at least one should be standing out to you. DOLPH ZIGGLER GETS MORE POPULAR WITH EACH LOSS HE RECEIVES. This also helps to get the opponent he is facing some heat. As we saw at Summerslam WWE has learned that he does need the occasional win to still be valued as a serious midcard star.

Now these Dolph fans or Dolphfans are probably getting a little annoyed right now but lets just get one thing clear. DOLPHS BIGGEST ISSUE IS HIMSELF. He has reportedly been told several times by officials to stop over selling as its not effective and he runs his mouth about a then world champion. Who else does he have to blame really? Maybe it was that awful HHH who seemingly buries everyone right?

DEAR INTERNET I ASK ONLY THAT YOU REALISE DOLPH WILL NOT GET A WORLD TITLE RUN NOW THAT THE TITLES HAVE MERGED. AND NO THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU A BRAND SPLIT JUST SO YOUR GUY CAN GET "WHAT HE RIGHTFULLY DESERVES"

So what do you think? Let me know by leaving a comment below or by getting in touch on twitter at @LevellerLOW

Gunning On The Level - Summerslam Predictions

About This Post

On this blog we are doing things slightly differently. Once a month myself and @LoveLostGunfire will be providing you our predictions for the monthly PPV. This month it's time to grab your bikinis, open a beer, set up the bbq and get your sun screen because its gonna be a hot one at the biggest party of the summer - SUMMERSLAM

The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler - IC title match

LLG - Considering how things went between these two last time (sneaky Miz, hiding out until the last minute) I want to say Ziggler will win tonight at SS; however, speaking realistically, I'm fairly certain The Miz will win the match (and retain). I mean, The Miz is being built up, right? While the "internet fan" in me wants to see Ziggler win, it just wouldn't make sense for The Miz to take a loss of that caliber at this point.

L - Like my friend here says, Miz is being built up. Rightfully so. He has a new gimmick and a new attitude to suit. Miz has changed but what has Dolph done to change in the last year? Think about it. Miz wins this one. Dolph continues to be held down because WWE knows that the more they hold him down the more fans care.

Swagger vs Rusev - Flag Match

LLG - It's weird how this particular feud hasn't lost steam with the fans. Personally, I'm not tripping over myself to see this, especially since I don't think it'll be a long match, but it'll probably be satisfying simply because Swagger will most likely end up bleeding out of his mouth again and these two brutes will throw each other around like crazy. Oh, and Lana will be around, so there's that (beyond satisfying). Who will win? As much as I want to see a Russian victory, I'm betting Swagger will take the win. Perhaps it's finally time to humanize Rusev and get a big loss for him.

L - I want this to be a great match and in my head I want to see Rusev continue his tirade of victories but realistically could they continue the anti-american stuff once they beat the all american american? I think WWE is too fan friendly to miss out on an opportunity like hearing an arena full of "WE THE PEOPLE" chants while Swagger hoists the flag above his head and Rusev lays defeated. HOWEVER, If Swagger does win it needs to be made clear that Rusev hasn't suffered a pin fall loss.

Paige vs Aj Lee - Divas Title Match

LLGFirst of all, let me just say that bitchy "frenemy" Paige is absolute gold. I want more of that mean streak in our British darling. I've been satisfied with the matches these two put on; yes, they're not the most technical matches ever, but they're gritty and at the very least, you can tell both ladies have passion for what they do. I like the fact these two are not afraid to throw each other into the barricade or into the steel steps. So, who will win? Honestly, I want Paige to win. I feel like she deserves a second chance at being the Divas champ; the first time around, I don't know if WWE handled it in the best way. Besides, it would feel weird to take the wind out of Paige's sails after all the build up leading to SS... That being said, I would not be surprised if AJ won, even though I personally don't think it would make too much sense

L - Logical choice screams Paige for the win as 1. Paige should never have dropped the title and 2. Who else is left for AJ to face as Divas champ? Bellas? NOPE! Alicia Fox? NOPE! Natalya? PLEASE NO. Paige can give life back to divas matches just by the fact it is pairings we haven't yet seen. Realistically though I see AJ retaining and Paige getting her rematch at NOC. This feud should probably begin more to lean on how crazy Paige can actually make AJ. They need to show that this "Frenemy" stuff really gets under AJs skin.

Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton

LLG - I...don't want to say what I'm thinking, but I'll do it anyway. I wonder how long this match will be; most high profile matches are at least 10-15 minutes, right? We've got Reigns who tends to be the Samoan Cena, and Randy who isn't always well received by fans - It will be interesting to see what kind of reactions these two can get from the crowd, and because of that, it's a very important match for Mr. Reigns. I'm not knocking Reigns, I just think he has a lot to learn (which is perfectly okay; I don't doubt he'll continue to grow) but I'm not sure if Randy is the right person for that job. I'm a Randy fan, don't get me wrong, but I know most people call him "Boreton" Sigh. Anyway, who will win? Simply because I know The E has a major hard-on for Mr. Reigns, I'll say Reigns will walk away victorious. *IF Reigns actually loses this, it'll probably be due to some shady business from The Authority.
L - Is it bad this is one of the matches I care about least on the PPV? It either goes two ways Reigns wins and faces HHH later on at NOC because Randy couldnt get the job done OR Orton wins due to interference from Authority or Batista (come on no one would see it coming). I do believe Reigns gets the win as I thin Stephanie will be the only member of The Authority to win a match tonight. If WWE plan on having Reigns win he better have more offence than his standard 6 moves and he sure as hell better be able to sell a strong beating cause no one wants John Cena 2.0. Reigns needs to look strong so have him put on an actual strong performance because thats whats best for business. Believe That.

Chris Jericho vs Bray Wyatt - The family banned from ringside

LLG - Screw this, I'm not going to bother typing anything fancy. I'm ready for a Bray Wyatt win, and I've been ready for that shit for ages now. Bray Wyatt for the win tonight at SS, or else I'll riot....quietly...in my room...after the show.

L - ............Oh you were expecting some kind of witty comment about how obvious it is that Bray Wyatt will win? Well you arent getting one. We all said that Wyatt would win at Battlerground and look what happened so Im not going to jynx it. Nope. No way. Not going to say that BRAY WYATT HAS TO WIN THIS MATCH OR SO HELP ME GOD CHRIS JERICHO I WILL HUNT YOU AND MAKE YOU SLAP THE CREATIVE TEAM FOR ME. Nope not going to say it. Wyatt wins. Bollocks I said it.

Ambrose vs Rollins - Lumberjack match

LLG - This is pretty much the only reason I'm heading out to the theater to watch SS. I actually dig the fact this is a lumberjack match, and I appreciate and enjoy Dean's logic behind picking this particular stipulation. I know a lot of people think Rollins will win, but I'm putting my money on Ambrose. NO, not just because I'm a big time Ambrose mark (as we all know); I genuinely feel Dean's erratic behavior suits this match style and I feel his lunacy will give him the endurance necessary to deal with the dudes outside the ring, and his backstabbing ex-brother in the ring at the same time. That being said, it really depends on who the lumberjacks are, right? Final word: Ambrose for the win, but I'm prepared to be disappointed with a loss.

L - I want all the lumberjacks to be guys that The Shield power bombed or messed with. It's logical. That way neither guy has a reason to leave. Even better if Dean hand picked them as it then plays into his lunacy. I believe that Dean wins. Only reason I say that is because Seth can lose for a full year and it wouldn't matter. If Seth lost for a full year imagine the shock when he cashes in? That MITB briefcase protects him from looking too weak. Dean needs a solid singles victory on PPV.

Brie Bella vs Stephanie "SUPER MILF" McMahon

LLG - I'm pretty sure Stephanie will win this through some good ol' Authority fuckery. I still think Kharma should have been contracted for this feud, y'know, with all that "what goes around comes around" talk from Steph. Would have been epic.

L - Stephanie wins. Why? Because if Brie wins then where does it leave her? Oh that's right. In a job where Stephanie is her boss. But seriously Stephanie wins and I will call heel turn. Nikki turns heel. And yes it makes sense. Nikki turns because she gets sick of being a pawn for Stephanie and she sees everything as being Bries fault. This can also still have Stephanie involved as she can pull strings and twist things as much as she wants. Anyone else beginning to feel this feud was just a way for all of us to keep Daniel Bryan in the back of our minds?

Brock Lesnar vs John Cena - WWEWHC title match

LLG - I want Lesnar to win this match, and he better good on his promises - I expect to see blood, urine and vomit! The problem with trying to predict the outcome of this match is as follows: even if Cena takes the beating of all beatings, you know how he rolls, and WWE loves giving Cena PPV wins. It's very easy to find logic in Lesnar winning this match, but it's also very easy to say WWE will leave the straps on Cena. Lesnar should win this. Sure, he's a part-timer, but I honestly give zero fucks what people say about him. The guy is a legitimate athlete and he brings a ferocity others are lacking. He's a huge draw, and it would be wise to capitalize on that, especially since he is The One...
Final word: Lesnar for the win, but I am obviously prepared for a Cena win

L - The only way Lesnar is allowed to lose this match in my eyes is by DQ or by doctors decision. A lot of people are worried that if Lesnar is champ he wont be at shows or PPVs etc. Well thats bull semen and we can worry about that if it happens. Logically they put the belts on Lesnar. If they don't they need to have a damn good reason as to why. I don't see Rollins cashing in on Lesnar so don't look for it to happen. Cena is obviously the go to guy for title holding etc but there is logic in that too. This, however, should be Brocks night. Much like LLG here I am prepared for a Cena win but I think Lesnar will win but not leave as champ.

WE NEED 5! - Our Top 5 Summerslam Matches

As part of our "re-branding" process we are going to bringing you "WE NEED 5!" once a month to give you our top 5 picks of a chosen subject. This month we are giving you our top 5 Summerslam matches. Please bare in mind these are just personal choice and preference so your opinion may vary to ours.

Rules;

  • No superstar can appear on the list more than once.
  • No two matches can come from the same PPV

5. The British Bulldog Vs Bret The Hitman Hart

One hell of a match and one hell of a win for the Bulldog. With the crowd behind him and the pressure on both guys had to deliver a match that the British crowd would never forget. They did this perfectly. The quick pin and the pop for Bulldog. Both men put on a great show and made sure that no one was going to forget the year the Brits had Summerslam. This match is really what made me pay attention to the Bulldog and I always favoured him over Bret from this point on.

4. Ultimate Warrior vs Honky Tonk Man

In a match where no one suspected that Warrior could beat HTM he got the finish in a damn quick match. HTM had held the title for so long that the crowd truly hated him. He was a great heel and he was the perfect opponent for the already over babyface Ultimate Warrior. Warrior finishes the match after hitting his signature splash and getting the pin. The crowd went nuts and Warrior began his hunt for the WWF championship. This match was chosen because of the crowd reaction, the setting and the fact it lead to much bigger things. It was a loss with purpose.

3. The Rock vs Brock Lesnar

This was a tough decision. I was unsure whether to include this match or The Rock vs HHH vs Kurt Angle. Ultimately I decided upon Rock vs Brock as it lead to Brock Lesnar being declared the youngest ever WWE champ and we saw The Rock give a show of respect to the future UFC WHC. The Rock had never faced an opponent as intense as Brock and Brock had never faced off with the brahma bull. This was truly a phenomenal summerslam match that should be rewatched on the network. The promos with The Rock training for this match as well really gave it a big fight feel.

2. John Cena vs Daniel Bryan

Quite possibly one of the best matches of last year. Both men put n a great show regardless of the amount of people that will tell you Bryan carried Cena through the match. This match was the point where we all thought Daniel Bryan was going to get the big one and he did........for a bit i guess. Then of course we had the whole authority angle, the Daniel Bryan hunt for redemption and a Batitsta return all due to this angle. Of course its in the top 5.

1. TLC

3 of the best teams WWE has ever had to offer in my opinion. 3 teams all with heat. 3 teams all with grudges and 3 teams all with a want for gold. They took the elements that all 3 teams were good at (tables, Ladders and chairs) and rolled them all into one big match. There are far too many good spots and moments to discuss but Jeff Hardy taking a spear from Edge while swinging from the belts was incredible. Every man in this match too an extraordinary bump at some point and gave their bodies to ensure that this was a 5 star match. Also every man went on to hold singles titles at some point too. I believe Devon was the only one to not hold a heavy weight title of some description but never the less he was just as vital at making one of the most iconic wwe matches of the last 25 years.

So there you have it our top 5 Summerslam matches. Did we miss any out? Let us know by leaving a comment or getting in touch on twitter at @LevellerLOW

Guest Blogger - #ItHappened What Now?

As part of our "re-branding" process we are creating monthly features that will join our regular articles. The first of which is "Guest Blogger" where we are inviting a guest article write to join us once a month and this time our guest comes in the form of the ever lovely Krysta Ibach.

"Alas I did not get to see it on the Spike TV airing originally as my dad’s birthday fell on the same night; and his birthday took priority over TNA but still through modern technology I still got to see it; so I am still going to talk about it...
Bully Ray finally got to pull the trigger on a long running story line; surrounded by the TNA locker room; he put Dixie Carter through a table…well technically; his ass went through the table and Dixie just hit the mat. She was legitimately injured; even she acknowledged that she had been injured in her interview with Ring Rust Radio (www.ringrustradio.com). Dixie Carter gets mad respect for taking that bump; it was one hell of a hit and she took it like a champ. I have no doubt that when this spot was laid out; it was pretty straight forward; and let’s face it; how often has Bully Ray done a move like that? However, at the height he was at; and the move required her to be in front of his face; it’s very easy to misjudge distance, and their luck came up short.

A few people are no doubt squeamish that this was a very large man against a very small woman. I am sure a few are arguing about this condoning violence against women (I myself DO NOT condone violence against women; children or men – because that happens too); yet in the same interview Carter has mentioned that it’s the opposite. I don’t think that Carter or TNA will ever do a spot like this again; just because of the image it presents. The spot was to serve a purpose and it did exactly that.

Had this spot ended with Dixie being devastatingly injured; I doubt TNA would have even put the spot in; it would have created the wrong kind of publicity.
So where does TNA go from here?

TNA has had its ups and downs; and in the era when Vince & Co have had a choke hold on the industry; it’s struggled to find its footing; yet with this story line of what is essentially a Boss Toss – you can’t tell me you don’t secretly wish Stephanie McMahon would go through a table…even if it’s at the hands of the Bella Twins…or even your own boss if you have one that is a nightmare…don’t shake your head; I know you have entertained the idea at least once – add in the return to the 6 sided ring; it actually makes people want to see what TNA will do next.
Judging from the crowd’s reaction at the tapings; and the IWC on social media; from this One Spot on the Card; I would say that TNA could potentially write its own ticket at this point. Will Spike TV change its collective mind and renew the promotion‘s contract? Or will Carter and Co head for greener pastures than the channel that seems to have COPS on a loop (Bad Boys, Bad Boys…Wha…right can’t say more than that otherwise I could be violating a copyright somewhere.) More importantly will Carter and Co keep on this path; pulling out the stops when it comes to in ring and story lines?

There is only one thing left to do…
Keep watching…and see where Carter and Co go from here."

Well there you have it. If you have any questions or comments please leave them below or get in touch on twitter at @LevellerLOW and @krysta_ibach

Booking On A New Level - The Beast, The Best and The Briefcase

In this post I want share with you an idea I have been having for a while now. Now while this is an idea I have had I do not believe that WWE are going to use it and neither should you but I personally believe it's a great idea that could be implemented should WWE choose to.
For months now I have questioned
how can WWE keep the titles on Brock Lesnar from Summerslam until Wrestlemania and hell I even posted a few ideas about a month back but these ideas seemed too simple for many to comprehend. Many did not like the idea that the WWE champion would not be shown on TV weekly. Many did not like that Brock Lesnar, a "part timer", holding the titles for so long. However, I provide you with a solution. My Summerslam main event booking.

We all know that WWE has set the main event to be Brock Lesnar vs John Cena for the WWEWHC but what if something changed? What if something were to happen that changed that main event. As I said many times before Brock vs Cena does not need the title to sell tickets or ppv buys. PEOPLE WILL BUY THIS JUST TO SEE CENA GET RAGDOLLED LIKE A LIMP CONDOM ACROSS THE RING. So how do WWE do this without a title? Here's your solution;

The RAW before Summerslam HHH announces that Ambrose vs Rollins will be a falls count anywhere match and that Cena vs Lesnar will be a no holds barred match in a bidding to make both matches fair to all involved. After hearing the news both Ambrose and Rollins begin brawling to the back while Cena keeps HHH in the ring and stares him in the face and says,

"I don't need weapons, I don't need stipulations. It doesn't matter what you throw at me, who you throw at me, all that matters is you know that I'm walking out of Summerslam WWEWHC." To which HHH replies,

"The stipulation wasn't for your benefit. Remember when I said "in the end I always get what I want"? Well what I want John is to see Brock Lesnar beat you until you quit and hand me that title using your shaking hands after Brock beats you within an inch of your life just like he did to The Undertaker. And frankly John, in my opinion, you're not what's best for business."

John Cena stands looking pissed as HHH leaves the ring. The night goes on normally as RAW shows do and we see glimpses of Summerslam moments that could happen.

Summerslam Sunday.
Third match of the night is Seth vs Ambrose in the falls count anywhere match. Seth and Dean go at it as they finally get to go toe to toe and Ambrose begins the match looking wild and angry. Seth gets the better of him and makes a break through the back. Ambrose catches up to him and they brawl out in the parking lot. Seth hits the curb stomp on to a car bonnet. Dean kicks out. Seth tries to set it up again but gets nailed by a clothesline. Ambrose drags Seth over to the car door and promise Seth that he is going to break each finger on his delicate little hands by using the door. Seth low blows Dean at the last minute and stands up. He opens the door and swings it into Dean who is now kneeling after being low blowed. Ambrose is motionless and Seth goes for a pin before deciding that he isn't done. He picks Dean up and opens the bonnet to the car this time. He lies Deans head and shoulders on the engine block and curb stomps the bonnet down on him. Dean falls to the floor lifeless and Seth pins him. WWE officials run in with medics to check on Ambrose as Seth just walks off yelling "I told ya Dean. I made this. I break this."

For the rest of the night during the PPV Cole and King will give updates as to what's going on with Dean and eventually the crowd will be told that he has been taken to a nearby hospital for a CT scan.

After the fifth match we see John Cena being interviewed backstage by Tom Phillips when all of a sudden Seth walks through the middle of the interview and wishes Cena the best of luck against the beast. Cena stares him down and Seth just smiles and walks off carrying his briefcase and pulling his suitcase behind him as he goes to leave the arena. Cena loses place of the interview and apologizes before leaving to go clear his head before the match.

The Main Event. Brock Lesnar is announced first and he enters the ring. Cena is announced next but when his music hits he doesn't come out. Heyman gets on the mic and cuts a promo about how Cena must be scared to face Lesnar after the last beating he gave him. The promo goes on for a good few minutes until eventually Lesnar takes the mic calmly and says "John, I don't care if the piss is streaming down your leg. I will still beat you until you cant walk. Get out here and quit being a bitch." John Cena is announced again and his music hits but this time we see the cameras jump to the back. We see HHH pulling officials out of the way and we can then see Seth Rollins in street clothes beating down on Cena in the locker room area. Seth curb stomps Cena onto the locker bench and hands HHH his MITB contract. HHH smiles and orders a referee to count. Seth Rollins successfully cashes in MITB.

HHH then informs an already beaten down Cena that he has to fulfill his contractual obligations and he must compete or he can be fired. Cena stares at HHH from the where he is now sitting and just laughs and shakes his head as he walks out to the ring. Paul Heyman, who has watched from the ring with Brock Lesnar as this whole incident has occurred, tries to calm Brock down as they both realise this match is no longer for the WWEWHC. Paul Heyman gets out of the ring and tells Brock to destroy Cena and show HHH whats going to happen to him if he doesn't get his promised title match.
Cena tries to be valiant and get on with the match but is already drained from his brawl with Rollins. Brock beats down on Cena with ground and pound blows before he goes for a chair. Cena gets up as per usual and tries to give Brock and F-U only to fall as he can't stand due to fatigue.
Brock laughs as he continuously beats Cena over and over and over with the chair. Michael Cole and all the commentary teams go quiet as Cena lies broken on the mat. Lesnar doesn't even bother pinning him he just leaves with Paul Heyman who is already on his mobile talking to the board of directors arguing this situation.

The next night on RAW Seth and HHH stand in the ring and HHH says that although he doesn't need to be in the ring any more there is a reason they call him the cerebral assassin. He played Brock, He played Heyman and he played Cena. HHH tells everyone that Plan B was to make sure Cena didn't hold the titles but they needed Plan C to make it happen so he lied to Brock and Paul. Heyman comes out and tells Hunter that he has a lawsuit waiting for him because he had a verbal contract with Brock stating he could have a championship match. HHH cuts him off and tells him he does whats best for business and as Paul should know, verbal contracts mean very little unless they are witnessed and recorded.

Now lets recap. This means;
  • Seth and Dean are highlighted all night at Summerslam
  • We get an unexpected cash in
  • Cena gets his ass beat down twice in one night. This also gives Cena the chance to take a month off tv to film all his movies that he is involved with
  • Brock gets a storyline to be involved with where he doesn't need to be there every week
  • We get a new WWEWHC and we get new storylines
  • HHH is viewed as a bigger asshole which is always good for a heel
  • Brock Lesnar is now angrier and more aggressive meaning he has more intimidation factor around him.
  • The titles can be held off Brock until Royal Rumble time. This means there is no need to rush a storyline that could ultimately flop in the end.
